PS3 Madden 10 Action May have Your Rivals Blitzed and Beaten

PS3 Madden 10's pulse-pounding, hard-rocking soundtrack is another element that gives the game an added kick. These soundtracks have become such a major part of the sports video games that the game just wouldn't be the same without it. You'll be blown away by the PS3 Madden 10 soundtrack - they've spanned the decades with these selections. If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth. Looks like you need a visit back in time, to the embryonic days of sports video games, if you have your doubts about PS3 Madden 10. Sure, it's questionable to praise today's games simply by damning yesterday's. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. Obviously, football video games were on every gamer's wish list when the first console games were out there. Trouble was, the video game consoles' abilities weren't as fully realized as gamers' football fantasies, so hardcore gamers had to make do with what was there. "All the excitement" of the real thing, the game publishers crowed back then. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day.

The football players look like blocky little robots. Let's get that out of the way. You think that photo looks limited, you should see the gameplay itself. Put too many characters on screen at once with these older games, and every character started flashing and flickering. The sound effects were just brutal. No scrolling screen, either. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Better, but not great.

That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever.

It's certainly easy to see why that one was a hit - the gameplay was far more sophisticated, incorporating actual offensive and defensive strategies. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. And given that they're making a new online version, there's still a following for it. Yet, it's still a poor man's PS3 Madden 10. Once you've viewed all the other games, have a gander at PS3 Madden 10. Yes, technology has been good to the video game world in general, and the football video game has benefitted from it all. That being said, time to lay off making fun of the older football video games. You get it. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") Of course, PS3 Madden 10 has really taken the ball and ran with it, which is cause for serious celebration in the video game world. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Anytime you read a PS3 Madden 10 review, you'll see things like "realistic and enjoyable." Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt? There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Sure, we love all PlayStation sports video games, but PS3 Madden 10 stands at the top, as one of the best. Hardcore gamers hold this one in the highest of regard. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks. PlayStation Madden 10 maniacs have the opportunity to challenge each other for some serious cash. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
